When you go there, you should plan to 古寧頭戰史館 ,there are forts left over from the war. and there are also many introductions to wars. My favorite activity to do here is Looking for the Wind Lion God, because there are many unique wind lions in Kinmen.
The second very special place in Taiwan is Taroko Gorge. I think this place is breathtaking because of its stunning natural beauty and towering marble cliffs. When you go there, you should plan to hike along the trails, explore the mesmerizing marble formations, and visit the Swallow Grotto for breathtaking views. My favorite activity to do here is hiking, because it allows me to immerse myself in the awe-inspiring scenery and appreciate the grandeur of nature.
The third place in Taiwan that I also highly recommend is Sun Moon Lake, which is special for its serene beauty and recreational activities. People usually enjoy taking boat rides on the lake to admire the surrounding scenery or cycling around its picturesque shores. Alternatively, you can also visit the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village nearby to learn about indigenous Taiwanese culture. Remember to bring sunscreen and stay hydrated, especially if you plan to spend a lot of time outdoors.
